*All participants 18 and older must sign a waiver. It is helpful to have waiver signed in advance of trip. Please sign the consent portion of the waiver for all children in your group.
Never underestimate the power of a rivers currents. The Muskegon River is shallow in many areas and very deep in others. Life vests are available upon request & we recommend that you wear them. Michigan State law requires all persons participating in canoe, kayak or raft sports must meet the following conditions:
One life saving device per person (Cushion or Vest)
All Children age 6 and under must were life vests with leg strap
You may you use your own USCG Sanctioned flotation device
We require all children 10 or below to wear a life vest while participating in water sports.
Note:If any child requires a safety seat while using transport vehicles, please make us aware prior to departure.
We do everything possible to provide a fun & safe experience for everybody, and we take the safety of our livery equipment and transport vehicles seriously. Be aware of the risks as every activity has inherent risk. These risks may result in bodily harm, injury or death. We want your group to "Have a good time, but keep it safe!" Make good decisions. Stay sober & watchful of your group. Knowing where everyone is and avoiding unnecessary risk is good practice. Participation in water sports is at ones own risk.
