Why Reserve Ahead? Reserving ahead allows you to reserve specific equipment and also guarantees you your equipment will be available when you take your trip.
How Much Notice is Needed? At least 24 hour for a planned or anytime trip.
When Should I Reserve Ahead? Weekends in July, August, and on Holidays are the key times to make a reservation. You will generally be able to get most any equipment you want Monday thru Friday throughout most of the summer without a reservation, with rafts being an exception.
Is Payment Required for a Reservation? To make a reservation we are requiring a deposit to be paid. $2.00 for each tube, $5.00 for each canoe or kayak and $50.00 for each raft. Reservations can be placed online, and can be paid by check or with a credit card.
How Do I Make a Reservation? Online Reservations or call us. If at anytime you have issues feel free to call 231-287-0008 and we will be happy to help.
Have no fear of rainy days
Cancellation Policy: We will be refunding 90% of deposits for cancellations as long as you cancel 10 days or more before your scheduled trip time. 10% of your deposit will be kept for processing fees. If you cancel after the 10 days then you will not receive any of your deposit back. In the event of inclement weather, please stay in touch with us on the morning of your trip to discuss questionable weather. If the weather clears up and there is still time for you to take your trip in the afternoon, we would then give you the okay to go out. In the event (we feel) the weather or the river may be dangerous, and or, it is just plain too rainy, cold, etc., we would let you know that we are remaining closed for the day. You would not lose your deposit due to inclement weather. You could then decide whether you wanted to schedule at that time, or just call back and reschedule at a later date. If it is at the end of the season and there is no time to reschedule, then we will reimburse your deposit minus 3%.
